Primeo Energie congratulates the Bottmingen municipal assembly on its forward-looking decision to merge the Bottmingen heating network with the heating networks of Oberwil-Therwil (WOT) and Binningen, and thanks them for their confidence in working together to make the heat supply in the Leimen valley more climate-friendly and thus the heat transformation in the four municipalities more efficient.
On December 14, the Bottmingen municipal assembly approved the merger of the Bottmingen heating network with the heating networks of Oberwil-Therwil and Binningen. This paved the way for making the heat supply in the Leimen valley more climate-friendly together with Primeo Energie.
At the same time, the foundations have been laid for a future-oriented Leimental heating network that can be expanded and supply further areas with renewable energy. We at Primeo Energie would like to thank the voters of Bottmingen for this groundbreaking decision and look forward to working with the municipalities to further develop and advance the Leimental heating network and to supply additional properties and neighborhoods with renewable district heating.
In combination with energy efficiency measures in existing buildings, this will make an important contribution to climate protection and the net-zero target.
