Primeo Energie takes the protection of personal data very seriously. We want you to know when we store which data and how we use it. This privacy policy applies to all companies of the Primeo Energie Group.
Personal data
Personal data refers to all information relating to an identified or identifiable person (natural person or legal entity). This includes information such as a person's first name and surname, title, postal address, email address, phone number, IP address and similar details.
Collection and storage of personal data
When visiting this website, data is collected and stored that the web browser automatically transmits in "server log files". In addition to the IP address, non-personal usage data is also registered, such as the last page visited, the browser used, the date, the time and the requested file or website. Primeo Energie evaluates this non-personal usage data in order to identify trends, compile statistics and improve offers and products on the browser and display devices or to best meet the needs of customers.
Depending on the website, you may need to register and create a user account in order to use certain services. During registration, personal data such as the person's surname, first name, email address and any other necessary details are collected and stored.
Personal data is also collected and stored as required for orders, offers, participation in competitions, etc.

By providing personal data, you agree that Primeo Energie and Primeo Energie Group companies can process it for the following purposes:

- Check access authorisation and manage user accounts (if user has registered)

- Evaluate individual energy consumption and user behaviour
- Send region-relevant information for marketing purposes and advertising
Primeo Energie can also have personal data processed by third parties to this extent. It shall ensure that data security is guaranteed.
Cookies
Cookies are used on the websites. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your device and used for analysing the usage of a website and storing the settings between visits. Cookies do not contain any personal data.
Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. However, you can set your browser to reject cookies in general by selecting "do not accept cookies" in your browser settings. In this case, however, you may not be able to use all the functions of the website to their full extent.
Web analytics
Primeo Energie uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service of Google Inc., to analyse usage (you can find more information about Google Analytics and how to deactivate the service here). The information generated by the cookies about your usage of the website is transmitted to and stored on a Google server. This server may be located outside Switzerland (in the case of Google Analytics in the USA). Google uses this information to evaluate the usage of websites, for example, to compile reports on website activity for Primeo Energie and provide other services related to website activity and internet use. If necessary, this information may be transferred to third parties as required by law or when third parties process it on behalf of the tool providers.

Right of access
The Data Protection Act grants you the right to learn free of charge whether and which of your personal data Primeo Energie stores. You also have the right to have wrong information rectified and deleted. This is subject to statutory storage obligations.
Requests for information should be sent together with a copy of the applicable ID, to Primeo Energie, Data Protection Officer, Weidenstrasse 27, CH-4142 Münchenstein, or by e-mail to datenschutz@primeo-energie.ch. Information is delivered only after the identity of the person in question has been verified.
